During spring and early summer, 30 striking digital triangle pillars will rise in Helsinki city center, offering brands exceptional visibility. At the same time, they will refresh the streetscape and make it even more vibrant. The triangle pillars have been designed in Finland and refined to fit Helsinki's urban landscape.
The new digital triangle pillars stand almost 3.5 meters tall. Old, static advertising pillars are making way for the new technology.
Each pillar features three vertical 75-inch 4K displays, enabling digital triangle pillars to showcase dynamic content on an entirely new scale. The shape and proportions of the triangle pillars also allow for impressive special executions, opening up completely new possibilities for our customers, says Outshine's CEO Jani Lepistö.
With the growing network, Outshine is surpassing the 400 digital outdoor advertising display milestone in Helsinki. The triangle pillars are an important part of developing the network and the streetscape.

Digitizing the urban landscape
The new digital triangle pillars are part of a carefully considered urban design concept. The design of the triangle pillars is the responsibility of Arkkitehtipalvelu Oy, so the pillars have been designed in Finland specifically for Outshine, with Helsinki's streetscape in mind. Details have been carefully considered both aesthetically and functionally, down to every screw placement. You won't find an identical pillar anywhere else.
For us, it's important that our triangle pillars fit visually into the urban landscape. Digital displays enable brands to respond quickly and provide locally relevant content, but also other types of communication or even information dissemination. That's why they're positioned where people move, says development director Aapo Koro, who led the design of the triangle pillars at Outshine.
The first triangle pillar will rise on Mannerheimintie in front of Lasipalatsi on Monday, March 17.
