Outshine is solidifying its presence in Tampere after winning the city’s public tender for digital billboards. At this stage, the agreement covers 26 new digital advertising sites for the next 15 years.
The City of Tampere has selected Outshine to operate digital vertical billboards in prime locations. Following the tender, sites previously split between several operators will now be consolidated into Outshine’s digital out-of-home (DOOH) network. The contract currently includes 26 advertising locations—some of which are double-sided—with the final total surface area to be confirmed later. The contract term is 10+5 years, beginning April 1, 2026.
These new digital billboards will integrate into Outshine’s existing network in Tampere. The screens stand out in the cityscape specifically due to their scale: these are large-format, 13 m² vertical digital displays. This impressive size, combined with premium locations, offers brands exceptional visibility and attention in the Tampere streetscape. Tampere represents Finland’s second-largest economic area, with a population of 446,000 (as of 2025).
